Suresh and Carrie of Atina don't shy away from their culinary point of view. This green tomato pickle is a culmination of their Ayurvedic and New York roots. The NY green tomatoes get a long 6-week lacto-ferment before they're finished in their spicy brine.To be honest, we can't stop ourselves from reaching in with our fingers and eating these pickles every time we open the fridge. But a more reasonable person might want to slice up the pickles and toss them into an egg salad, on a hot dog, on buttered sourdough toast, or mixed up with some farmer's cheese. You can't go wrong!
